The New Middle School Art Program
by Eldon Katter and Marilyn G. Stewart

The new Middle School Art Program from Davis Publications consists of three comprehensive and exciting texts:  “Art: A Personal Journey”, “Art: A Global Pursuit”, and “Art: A Community Connection”.

Each book begins with four chapters devoted to “foundations”.  All students need to begin with a sound foundation in art education.

Following the four foundation chapters there are nine units developed on themes. Built around these themes are lessons dealing with Art History, Skills & Techniques, Global View, and Studio.

Listed below are all the different themes and lessons for each book.
